AP0110 serves as technology and AI strategy advisors to the **UNA-USA Human Rights Affinity Group**, leading its Technology pillar — translating UN human rights instruments into actionable guidance for the digital age.

## The Affinity Group

The UNA-USA Human Rights Affinity Group is a national member network open to all UNA-USA members. It shares knowledge and aligns strategy around UN human rights instruments — including the UDHR, the Universal Periodic Review, and UN Human Rights Council resolutions — and brings those frameworks to community, campus, and Capitol Hill advocacy.

## AP0110's Role

- Advising on AI governance policy.
- Building digital rights literacy among UNA-USA chapters and advocates.
- Applying privacy-preserving Web 4.0 technologies to human rights documentation and secure communications.

## Global Digital Compact

Adopted unanimously by all 193 UN member states in September 2024, the Global Digital Compact affirms that international human rights law applies in digital spaces, establishes an independent international AI scientific panel, and commits governments to protecting human rights online as they do offline.
